Learning goals<\/h3>\nUpon successful completion of the Certificate Course, participants will possess a distinct China competence. They will have gained a comparative perspective on work and research practices, and better prospects for a successful global career. Upon participation in all courses and the workshop, participants will receive the TU Berlin Certificate of Professional Education for China Competency. \nConcluding workshop Intercultural Communication<\/b>\n \n- Interactive introduction to intercultural communication and social interaction<\/li>\n
- Group work involving presentation and subsequent discussion of results<\/li>\n
- Exchange in mixed groups with German and Chinese participants<\/li>\n
- As a program culmination and to enhance exchange between participants, an optional group dinner will be offered after the workshop.<\/li>\n
- The workshop raises awareness about one's sometimes unconscious (communication) behaviour and intercultural differences in verbal and nonverbal communication. Participants learn about cultural competency, factors influencing perception and the extent to which our perception can influence our communication behaviour. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\nIt is not possible to register for this individual course. The participation is only possible as part of the certificate course.\n

Each individual course concludes with a certificate of attendance after successful participation. - Some prior knowledge of China's urbanization and environmental development is recommended for better understanding and analysis of the content. Participants should have a keen interest in international collaboration and cooperation, especially in the realm of global environmental issues <\/li>\n\t
- Participants should be familiar with the basics of international cooperation in research and education. They should have a strong interest in the political and economic relationships between China and the West and an openness to intercultural collaboration and exchange <\/li>\n\t
