However, the aspiration for collaboration has significantly decreased on both sides: political and economic decoupling poses further questions for research policy. In the future, China will rely less on international partnerships, while Western universities see risks and opportunities in cooperation with China. How should institutions and universities in Germany respond to the rising China? The aim of this course is for participants to formulate their own guidelines based on contextual knowledge. <\/p>\n

\nThis course is a module of the Certifcate Course China Competency, which provides an intensive insight into Chinese culture, politics, society, as well as science and technology. The certificate program comprises four courses and a concluding workshop: \n

- Research and Higher Education Policy, Foreign Affairs, Culture and Education Policy in China 15.02.2024 \u2013 16.02.2024<\/li>\n
- Philosophical Traditions, History, Society and Economy of China<\/li>\n
- Technology, Digitalization, Innovation in China<\/li>\n
- Workshop Intercultural Communication and Subsequent Certificate Presentation<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
\nAll courses can be taken individually and independently, each concluding with a certificate of participation.
