Over the past four decades, China has experienced rapid urbanization unlike any other country in the world. This poses immense challenges not only for the infrastructure development of urban areas but also for agriculture, the environment, and the climate. In a time when questions of ecology and climate are vital for humanity, close cooperation with China is essential. This course focuses on both the ecological peculiarities of China and the related societal and economic issues, as well as the strategies for solutions and areas where international cooperation is indispensable. Additionally, this course will initiate or support further research or exchange projects in the fields of environment and climate. <\/p>\n
